Often times when people hear that children shouldn’t be given consequences or put in time out, but rather understood empathically and championed developmentally, they get worried! Usually the worry is that this means it is going to be Disneyland-party time parenting with kids who rule the roost. Here Dr Vanessa shares how this is definitely not the case, that compassionate parenting is full of rules and boundaries, and just how to go about it all so you can strike the balance of being both firm and kind.
Join Liz from Kids Heart Pilates as she takes us through a series of exercises to help us get strong. Level 2 is ideal for children aged 3+
These Pilates activities can be used in a classroom setting or at home and are ideal for children aged 2-7. Each video has a selection of short activities that range from 60-90 seconds in length. This video might reference a ‘lily pad’ which is a small yoga/pilates mat. You can use something similar at home or in a classroom however it is not essential.
