Term 2 was a busy start for the Fremantle LDC P&C we kicked off on Saturday 5th May with a Bunnings BBQ at the O’Connor store. The weather was perfect for BBQ’ing 600 odd sausages and we had some awesome volunteers who gave up their time to help out. We would like to say a big “Thank-you!” to all of you (parents and staff) as thanks to their hard work we raised $1,210. We also would like to acknowledge and thank Winthrop IGA, who kindly donated the sausages, sauces and 25kg of onions (sliced too, which saved many sore eyes).
We held the annual the Mother’s Day Raffle on Friday 11th May and organised 3 large hampers filled with Mother’s Day treats including some wine and Muzz Buzz vouchers which were generously donated.
The winners of the Mother’s Day raffle were as follows:
- 1st Prize Mia – A2
- 2nd Prize Noah – A6
- 3rd Prize Finn – A3
- 4th Prize Owen – B1
- 5th Prize Aleisha – TA3
- 6th Prize Mason – TA18
Congratulations to the winning Mum’s and we hope all our Mother’s had a wonderful Mother’s Day with their children.
All of the money raised will be going towards the remaining Teachers “Wish List” and will directly benefit all of our kids.
On Friday 15th June we are holding a Fremantle LDC Family and Friend’s movie screening of Incredibles 2 at Hoyts Garden City. Please keep an eye out for flyers in your communication books. This event is always popular with the kids, as they enjoy being able to go to the movies together with their friends. Hope to see you there.
We also have the new 2018/2019 Entertainment Books for sale in the office, or they can be purchased online via the following link: http://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/orderbooks/833m73
