As planned, the Perth and Peel post-lockdown restrictions are set to be significantly eased further from 12.01am Saturday, May 1.
The easing of restrictions will see Perth and Peel move closer to the return of pre-lockdown life, but a small number of transitional measures will remain in place until Saturday, May 8. I am writing to advise that schools remain open and masks are required for all staff and adults on school premises. Teachers can remove masks to teach.
Venue capacity limits have also been eased and parents/carers are able to attend school activities such as assemblies and events. Masks are mandatory for parents/carers to wear indoors and outdoors where physical distancing is not possible.
The safety of staff and students is a priority and extra cleaning and hygiene measures continue. The latest health information is available through WA Health Department.
The easing of restrictions means we can participate together as a school community once again, we look forward to seeing you at our assembly this afternoon.
Kind regards
Louise O’Donovan
