Amendment to Term Dates

Please be aware of an error made in the letter sent home with children last week. The dates for the last day of term one and Good Friday were incorrect and should be:

Thursday 1st April – Last day of Term 1
Friday 2nd April – Good Friday (no school)

Our apologies for any confusion caused.

A Note from the Community Health Nurse

Welcome to the new school year. My name is Janet Hutchison and I am the Community Health Nurse who visits your school.

Community Health Nurses work in partnership with schools to promote healthy development and well-being so students may reach their full potential. A major part of our work is focused on early intervention and the School Entry Health Assessment program.

Community Health Nurses also serve as a health contact point for children and their families, providing information, assessment, health counselling and referral.

The services provided are free and confidential.

You may contact me via your school office or at my Community Health Base on  9314 0100.

Canteen opening times are Wednesday to Friday 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. Parents and students can also order at the canteen from 8:30 am. or call the canteen (Stacey Skane) directly on 6174 1420.
