This week in B1 we have been talking about International Women’s Day and why it is an important day all around the world. The children had a very positive discussion about equality and loved learning the pose for ‘Each for Equal’.
This year’s theme reminded us that collectively, each one of us can help create a gender equal world. We listened to Malala’s Magic Pencil, an autobiographical children’s story written by Malala Yousafzai. Then the children wrote about what they knew about Malala. What an excellent role model!
