On Monday 16th November, Year 3 Fremantle LDC students from Caralee Community School, Bull Creek Primary School and Beeliar Primary School joined together for a Big Day Out. After collecting our friends from Beeliar, Bull Creek and Caralee, we drove to The Esplanade in Fremantle, where we refuelled with our morning tea. The children were very excited to have a play on the playground. We then walked across the road to Cicerellos, where we were met by Craig who conducted our Aqua Tour. The students and staff were keen and not so keen to touch sea creatures including starfish, crayfish, sea cucumbers and a Port Jackson Shark. We then walked to Bather’s Beach where we all went beach-combing and had fun building sandcastles and decorating them. We then returned to Cicerellos to find our delicious lunch of fish and chips ready for us. Our day was not over yet as we boarded the bus for the short drive to Melville Super Bowl. The children were in mixed teams, so they had the opportunity to make some new friends from other schools. A lot of fun was had by all. Finally it was time to board the bus again for our return journey back to our schools. The Teachers, Education Assistants and Speech Pathologists would like to congratulate all of the Year 3 students on their outstanding behaviour which made the whole day a wonderful experience. We would like to thank the FLDC P&C for providing the funding to make this day possible. It is greatly appreciated by all staff and students.
