Dr Kristy will outline the current online safety risks facing young children today. Kristy will share the 3Ps- pornography, predators and peers (cyber-bullying). You’ll be armed with facts, not fears, about simple and effective ways that you can ensure your child’s safety online, without having to ban the iPad or unplug the computer. This video is a must-watch for any worried parents and carers, who want peace of mind that their child’s online time is safe.
We all want to grow up kids who are full of gratitude rather than full of the greedy-gimmee’s. The most important thing to know in this is that gratitude is not something that a child learns through direct instruction. Rather gratitude is an experience that is absorbed into the child when they are on the receiving end of generosity and empathy. Dr. Vanessa talks about how to inspire gratitude in your growing children.
Join Liz from Kids Heart Pilates as she takes us through a series of exercises to help us get strong. These Pilates activities can be used in a classroom setting or at home and are ideal for children aged 2-7. This video might reference a ‘lily pad’ which is a small yoga/pilates mat. You can use something similar at home or in a classroom however it is not essential.
