What is Persistence?
Persistence means not giving up when faced with a challenge. It is the ability to stick with a difficult task and cope with frustration. Children who are persistent usually keep trying when faced with a challenge, are slower to “lose it” when they don’t get their way, and can tolerate waiting for their needs to be met.
Why Practice It?
Persistence is one of the most common qualities of a successful person. A person practicing persistence will never give up. They believe in themselves and in the fact that the longer they hang in there and keep moving ahead, the greater the chance that something will go their way.
