Language Development Centres do not have local intake areas. Students are likely to be placed at a campus nearest to their residential address.
Schoolbuses is a branch of the WA Public Transport Authority (PTA). It is responsible for providing ‘transport assistance’ to families with students attending Language Development Centres. Schoolbuses provide eligible families with free transport assistance on a contracted ‘orange’ school bus. They may also assist a student’s family by providing a Conveyance Allowance as a contribution towards the costs of transporting their children to and from school when the ‘orange’ school bus is not available. Eligibility for transport assistance is determined by the Schoolbuses. Strict boundaries do apply.
Parents who wish to apply for Transport Assistance need to apply online through the Schoolbuses website.
