Bull Creek News: Bull Creek Primary School Busy Bee

Dear Parents/Carers,

Sorry for the late notice acknowledging this important event last weekend, the COVID updates have been taking over. Firstly,  I would like to express my thanks to the parents, grandparents, students and staff who assisted at the Busy Bee last Saturday. The weather was perfect, lunch was yummy and everyone who attended came with a positive mindset, which was to make Bull Creek Primary School a better place. I thank you all for giving up your personal time and getting in and doing whatever tasks were assigned to you. The number of families that came along really demonstrated we have a strong community spirit at Bull Creek, which I feel proud to be part of. The students have loved admiring their newly revamped playground and painted designs around the school. Please see below the P&C update about the Busy Bee.

Kind regards,

Sharon Marchenko | Bull Creek Primary School Principal

P&C Busy Bee & Playground Update

A huge thank you to the 38 adults and 27 students that came to help with the Busy Bee on Saturday. It was a fantastic atmosphere with lots achieved around the school including a refresh of the artwork on the walkways, some additional play equipment in the Kindy/PP area, treating the wooden play equipment and painting of the wall near the basketball court ready for a new mural.

We’ve also been awarded $19,550 from the City of Melville Robin Hood Grants to install a Ship Shape Obstacle Course around the main playground. Thank you to everyone in the school community that voted for our project!

Thanks,

Janelle | Bull Creek PS P&C Coordinator
