The TLG Language Group commenced in Term 1, 2021. The group offers kindergarten parents and caregivers the opportunity to attend fortnightly language group sessions with their child on a non-kindergarten school day. The group is facilitated by a Fremantle LDC Speech Pathologist with support from an experienced Education Assistant (EA). The program provides parents and caregivers with the opportunity to:

• • Play and interact with their child, encouraging early language and social development in a safe, supported and stimulating environment.
  • Gain relevant knowledge, skills and strategies to enable them to implement suitable speech and language facilitation strategies within the home environment.
  • Observe strategies being modelled by staff through play-based activities designed to target the goals of the families.
  • Meet and engage with members of the school community including other parents, teachers, educators, administration staff and school support staff.
  • Spend quality time with their child, play together and have fun!
